Given good water quality and varied feedings, can anybody put in order the growth rate of my fish? Im not asking for which one will be the biggest but which one from fastest to slowest grow up to their max. Here is what Im guessing....???

silver aro
tin foil
silver dollar
gold severum
dat
leporinus
s. bichir
pleco

Just want to get an idea of who to keep an eye on. :)

Thanks!!!

I'm not sure if anyone could accurately lay this out for you, however I can tell you what grows faster out of what I've kept, and that would be the following:

1) Silver Arowana
2) Pleco(Assuming the common variety)
3) Silver dollar

Then again I could be way off. I know that common plecos grow like weeds but silver arowanas probably grow faster. Its been a long time since I had silver dollars and I don't remember then growing exceptionally well so I put them last.

I think you have to let us know what tank size they are kept in as well...the more luxury the space for the fishes...they can grow faster... :naughty:

In my 180, dont want to get to specific with parameters, just want to get an idea, thou good question. :D

well i think the arowana would be the one you wanna keep your eye on.Then i would say pleco, tinfoil, then severum.

I agree with the Arowana being the fastest grower: Arowanas especialy silvers grow very fast, I think the aprroximate growth rate for a silver aro is 1 inch a month.

I agree with the arrows , plecos, and tin foil. my tins are growing like weeds .I was gone 5 days and I noticed they got biger
