how long does it take for aro to get full size:feedback:

Depends on what you're considering "full size". Full size would technically be just short of 4', which is a size that has never been achieved in captivity as far as I know. The usual max size in captivity is about 36", but I can't really tell you exactly how long that takes, since mine hasn't reached that size yet, but generally they grow about 1.5-2" per month until they reach 22-24", then they slow down quite a bit. Mine is about a year and a half old and is about 26" (possibly an inch-1.5" larger).

X2

My Silver Aro went from 4" to 22" in about 13 months. (So, he has about the same growth rate as your Aro.)

Factors which affect growth rate:
1. Tank Size
2. Water-change schedule and general water quality
3. Feeding regime
4. Types of Food
5. Genetics
6. Others (like Stress.. which maybe due to tankmates and may impact food intake of the Aro. etc.)

Silver aros usually grow about a inch a month lolz. But got to watch for wen it stops growin... then u start countin.

I HAD MINE FROM 5 INCHES IN A 6FT X 2 X 3 AND HAD TO GET RIDE OF IT IN ABT 4 AND A HALF MONTHS. BUT I WAS EATING A LOT OF FOOS AND ALOT OF MY OWN STOCK HAHA. ITS KILLED A MASSIVE FLOWERHORN RED DRAGON I THINK AND ABOUT 5 3-4IN FLOWERHORNS SO. AND A FEW THING JUST WENT MISSING SO.
