Sort of fast from my experience at first. They can go from 2 to 3-4 pretty quick, but still working on 4-5. I am coming up on having my clowns for a year. They are all 3.5-5'' now. Feeding bloodworms, flakes, and sinking massivore. They just love massivore. From 4.5-6 I am just assuming its slow, because the rates have dwindled, I don't mind though I like them 4-5''.

Clowns can grow fairly quickly to the 4" mark. After that, an inch a year is good growth. Depends on diet and water quality.
