Was curious if anybody knows the growth rate of giraffe catfish ( Auchenoglanis occidentalis ). According to planet catfish if they are well fed they will grow pretty fast. So if I get like a 5in one how big do you guys think it will be in a year. Inches bigger or at least over a foot.

they are pretty fast growers- it of course will be determined not just by food consumption but also size of tank and water parameters. I had one for a while in a 55g, ( I had no idea how big they actually got) and in 6 mos it doubled in size.
