Growth rate of JDs?

I was just wondering, because my Jack hasn't grown in a while, and I've read that they can get to be 10-12" while mine is only about 6-7"!

I have had him in a 55 gallon, but is now moved to a 150.

Im not exactly sutre but i have heard they gro half an inch a month. Just feed high protein foods and keep the water params in check and he should grow.
