I acquired a few more Texas cichlids that i am growing out to hopefully get a female for my male which is about 5" now. They are between 1-1.5" right now. At what earliest size will i be able to tell which is female which is not?
The female,wont have the slight hump on the head actually,also the top dorsal fin with a black patch on it,would most likely show that its a female too.
