I was wondering about the growth rate of these fish and what conditions would make them grow faster or slower

Nimbochromis venustus
Orange Pike

festae will likely grow .5"-1"/month til around 9"
jd will grow about .5-.75"/month til around 6 or 7"
jags grow around 1"/month til about 9 or 10"

as for the other i do not know.

water changes and good foods.
it's general but it will work!

i'm sure freddies grow around .5-.75"/month til around 8"

festae will grow fast at first then they grow extremely slow.

Conditions that will make them grow slower are poor water parameters and/or poor feeding. It would be unhealthy for a fish to try and slow down it's growth.

a male jag can grow up to an 3/4inch a month till about 9 inches(a year give or take a month) then it slows to roughly an inch every 3-5 months.

a female jag is relatively the same but up to 6 inches and an inch every 3-6

A male freddie can do an 3/4inch a month till about 7 inches then an inch every 4-5

the sizes depend on diet tank size water perameters etc etc. but that pretty general.

the festae that I kept grew, at most, 0.5" per month up to 6"-8" and then slowed down even more...I'd had them for 3-3.5 years and the male was ~10" and female ~8" when I lost them because of a move. :(
