Hi' Guy's ,

I'm hoping to be a getting a new tank in a year or two and was wondering if an endlicheri would be ok in a 4x2x2 for that amount of time, reading alot of posts it seems they shoot to around 12" then up to 19" fairly quickly then slow right down. The endlicheri seems to have the real ancient look going on!

Last but least i have a 40g long tank thats divded into two with snakeheads on one side and ctenopoma ansorgii on the other, how long would it last with the ansorgii before it tries eating them? If i got like a 10 galon tank how big would the bichir before i needed to move it on?

A captive breed endli will be fine ofr life in a 4x2x2 but bigger is always better. Once a bichir gets up to 6" moved it to 30g or 55g. A 10g tank usually slow down the growth rate and sometimes stunts the fish. I usually use 55g as a start up growing up for bichirs.

Thats cool , i will be getting a new tank anyhow as i fancy getting either tropical gar or asian arrowana. I'll skip the 10g and pop any juvi's i get in with my snakeheads as they'll have 20g for growing out a bit.

Thanks for the advise as always:)
