growth rates

how fast do delhezi's grow? and also ornates.... my dels seems to grow long but not fat enough, and my ornates quite fat but @ around 8" for 3 months now, i got it @ around 5". is it slow? normal?

depends on alot of things the bichir wut u feed how clean ur water is how often u feed tank size an ornate not growing 4 3 months dont sound right is it eating? is there a chance of parasites?

no, what i meant was it only grew 3" in 3 months or an average of an inch a month. is it normal growth rate?

About an inch a month alittle faster than Senegals or atleast mine..My Dels tend to get fat before longer...Try filling them up with Carnivore pellets and twice a week water changes or 3.

As far as ornates..I have no idea since i have 0 interest in these.

Diet: frozen bloodworms, market shrimp, sinking pellets, my captive bred mosquito fishes.

WC sched: twice a week. saturdays and wednesdays.

Sounds about right, perhaps a bigger tank would give them a growth spurt?
