Growth?

How long does it take for a African Brown to grow any length? Mine is about 3-4inches, and rather small looking. I was wondering how long it would take him to grow to max length?

Just a general time frame..? He gets all kinds of good foods, and weekly water changes along with my other fish..

They are relatively slow growers. I had one that went from 4" to 6" in 6 months. They max out around an average of 8" but mine was at 6" for a year after it hit that mark.

Oh thats cool. I just dont want him to look like food to my Del.. When I feed her he comes and steals the tilapia and runs off with it
