my little pbass (3") has a growth on the end of it's lower lip. its white and looks like a over grown tooth

Sounds like mouth rot although it shouldn't really look like a tooth. I would treat with salt and raise the temp.

It might even be a bump from rubbing or running against the glass..little salt and raise the temp and some melafix if not a bump
