GRRRRR lost my rtm fry

Lost all my red tiger moto fry i had got from my LFS ordering out for me.
I was treating them for ich and turned up the temp added salt every ten to twelve hours. Ich looked like it was going away =) ....came home the next day and two of them were dead!
(tank were only 81F)

They were beat up and eyes eaten, the two that lived were also beaten badly and breathing hard at the top and died later that night!
Im so upset o well there goes fifteen dollars

Sorry to hear. But $15 isn't bad at all for 4 RTM. At least now you can take the time to get your empty tank issues in order while you wait on more RTM. The good thing is I've seen a lot of fry available from members here. You should be able to get more quite easily. I don't know how much you'll get for $15 though. Don't give up. They are beautiful cichlids. Good luck on the next try.

Dan from cichlids of America is the only one selling F1 rio blanco that i am aware of. those have been distributed throughout the hobby and some have been spawining and may be trickling into some lfs's. But the rio copan has been around a long time and you more than likely have gotten those. either way both are very beautiful and imo the only difference would be the keepers preference

$15 was nice for there size!
My lfs and I are very close i breed alot of there bigger fish (my grow outs that I dont use for show or breeding). Yea i suppose 10 gallons is far to small to even quarantine in.
