i turned on my lights this morning only to see that my grunter had a feeder in its mouth 3/4 its size in leght and half in tallness.i then had to scare the grunter as it was obvious he would not be able to eat it. hte grunter is barely 2.5 inches

haha never had that happen with mine, they will usually ram into things and break them to piece try putting a little crayfish in with it 
he'll attack practically anything that comes near where you feed them keep it varied they (grunters) seem to protect wherever the food is put in especially barcoo and sooty's
yeh. i dont wanna sell him. but i also want a jar in there and i dont want anyone dead. i also want to pu in a silver perch and another tilapia.
he will probably just own the silver perch in a couple of days maybe less try a couple of them. and it will probably leave the tilapia alone until it gets a little bigger or it provokes it too much
tialpia is 4 times his size and is in the 5' hes in with aniother tilapi2x size in a 2' until i either get a 4'(should happen soon) or he gets big enough.
