If anybody has them I'd like to see some pictures of your brackish puffers.

Here's a couple of my GSP to get it started......

^I know this one's blurry, but he's hiding under the shell!! ^^

Nice tank but needs way more decor. Puffers are intelligent & inquisitive. Check out my tanks for ideas.

Cute fatties!

I put a WHOLE bunch more shells in there, and as my Land Hermit Crabs grow out of them, I have a few more that'd be really pretty in there!!

Sooner or later, I'll pick up some plastic plants.....maybe when I upgrade him to the 35!! I still gotta get my hydrometer first!!

anyways, clearer pictures!!

^he hadn't eaten since breakfast!! lol

After a meal earlier.

right now he's filling his belly!! ^^

Yeah, plants will be nice, breaking up their lines of sight. Then you can seperate them when you upgrade. How many puffers are there?

just this one lil guy. We call him Spot ^_^ I only have the 10 gallon as a grow out currently, and I know they need 30 gals each....so I might not be getting another GSP any time soon

But, as soon as we get another 29 (my piranha inhabits our current one) we're thinking about getting a pair of f8s.

P.S. a pic of his tank decor for now!!

Saince you titled this thread "GSP and Fig 8 Puffer Photo Thread ", I thought you had both species.

Did you check out my tanks for other ideas?

nope, I just think that both species are cute. We don't have f8s yet, and although we've attempted keeping GSP before (with petstore info since my googling skills aren't great) We'd lose them AFTER the warrenty was up!!

This little fella is already doing much better, and it even looks like he may have grown a smidge or two!!

I haven't looked yet, but as soon as I stop running two MFK windows (lol) I'll definately give them a peek!! ^^ Everybody's fave piece of decor is the treasure chest. It also never ceases to amuse my puffer, since he'll swim all around it, giving it a good eyeballing!!

BTW, thanks for the pics, they're all great!! ^_^

Quick question, I know they get 6" long, but how big do they get body-wise? for example, he's about the size of a large grape right now, not counting his tail.

P.S. I peeked!! I didn't know all those corals could go in with my GSP when he's bigger!! They look awesome!!
