Does Anyone know any reason why my guy keeps floating as if he has swim bladder? I know it’s not possible but could I be losing him?

Does he look puffed up at all? Could anything have spooked him that's new in or around his tank

+1 for parameters of the tank?

Did you remove the puffer from water at all recently? Changing tanks, acclimation's, cleanings or anything like that?

Post water parameter
Could be trapped air. Has it been netted lately?
Are you keeping it fresh or brackish?
Tank mates or keeping alone?
What type food are you feeding?

Got some retained air. Can u try gently massaging and get the air out that way.

Sorry for late reply as im in the middle of organizing my new house...

But i agree with the others above, if parameters and everything is good, chances are it may have got air trapped inside on him...

There are videos online that can teach you how to expel the air by placing the puffer in a net and slowly massaging the puffers belly to get the air out, just need to make sure to do it slowly and carefully which should hopefully solve the problem if thats what it is...
