I love 'em.. I kept 2 before like 7 years ago they lasted less than two days.. I know a little more now and these guys are going on like i said a few months :)

I am very pleased with them and they are very fullfilling :)

No flash on any of these pics :)

Adorable! They're looking good. I didn't have any luck when I tried them a ways back. Maybe I'll try again one day.

full tank shot.and the puffers do look happy.

Just took it.. THey are in a 30 gallon with to chinese algae eaters.. I have a fifty five for them but don't want to put them in it just yet :) If i can keep them til they cruise more to adulthood they'll get a 90 to 125 :) That is if all 6 of them live that long :) Still in new territory with only bneing able to keep the first 2 7 years ago for not long at all :)

Nice.. I had one once but it wouldn't eat the snails so the teeth grew too large and it died..

What salinity are they in?

I feed solid frozen for that and am still working on a good method to aclimate to a better salinity weight :) I know what i need to do , just a little fearful .. To acclimate to the specific gravity i want is going to take around 20 days.. They were in fresh in the lfs and so i didn't want to throw them into shock.. I am going to get the salt i need in the next couple days.. And then the acclimation starts.. I didn't want to go into it right away as i didn't know if i was going to have them long :) But now that they are thriving i am ready to go full force with rasing the gravity of the salinity :)

I had read and read but aroudn here They tend to just disapear after a couple days or a week ... No one i know has kept one near as long as the ones i have now :) So i beleive the research i have done is paying off :)

Time to make it a home :)

I miss this tank :(
