GSP vs Hughes and Pac vs Morales

Pierre and Pacman.

I love El Terrible, one of the best, most exciting fighters I've seen, but he is past prime, and Pacman appears to be at his peak.

Baller - are you not Asian? I'm surprised you're not picking Pacquiao :D

I think Erik won the first fight hands down, schooled pac somewhat, and the 2nd fight was a combination of Erik taking pac more lightly and Pac taking Morales even more seriously.

I think in the 3rd fight they are both going to be serious, I just think Pac is at his peak, has more in the tank, and more fire for a full scale war than El Terrible has at this point.

haha....... yea but something about pac just erks me...... i think its the fact he looks like a Neanderthal and talks like mike tyson.......

same thing Pierre and Pacman. Hughes can only be #1 for so long. I thought BJ had him but he gassed. He did throw down a mean first round though.

Hahaha, you are one of the only Asians I know that is not swinging from Pac's nuts.

Looks like a neanderthal? lol. He actually looks more like a slightly dorky middle aged SE Asian man when out of the ring. He wears funny little polo shirts tucked into funny little jeans pulled up far too high etc :D

I think pacman seems alright actually, I like him, and you gotta hand it to him, in the ring he's like a pitbull with boxing gloves. He's a ferocious little bastard.

I honestly feel he's the best Asian fighter ever. I've seen a few fights of some of the Asian HOFers, like Khao Galaxy, and I think Pacman would have hammered them all.

thats the difference between a fight fan and a front runner......

i think pacman is a great fighter..... but not the best asian.....

Sakuraba, Gomi, Yamamoto.... Buakaw.... all great fighters..... but in sports with less reconition........

the second fight he seemed.... like just so tired... he had to lose like 50 pounds...
he just seemed out of it from losing all that weight...

this time around he lost the weight in smaller ammounts.. he is going to be ready this time

I feel Pacman is on a higher level than any of them, in fact boxing is simply a higher level than MMA.

Gomi is basically a boxer, a decent one too. He wins fights by battering people with punches and the occasional knee or kick.

In pro boxing he'd be good, but not on pac's level, he is MUCH rawer than pac, and P4P not as much speed and power and stamina.

Pacman is good, very very good. ALready he's accomplished at least as much as any Asian fighter ever, belt or not, he's rightfully a 4 weight world champion. He's dominated 4 divisions - flyweight, super bantamweight, featherweight and now super featherweight. Well either dominated or beat the "man" at those weights. He's also beaten 2 of Mexico's best fighters of recent years - MAB and Morales, future hall of famers - both by KO.

Pac is a great, there's no doubt about it. I was a sceptic, I thought he was just an exciting but limited fighter that would get exposed, until he beat the living **** out of Barrera, then I became a believer. I thought he was simply too small and too 1 dimensional to compete with the likes of MAB but I was wrong. Pac is a beast, make no mistake. P4P his level of talent and skill far exceeds people like Gomi and Sakuraba.

umm Yes and No.... as far as striking goes..... YES pacman is superior.... no doubt but i dont think he would be as good if he had to worry about soccer kicks to the head and takedowns...... its apples n oranges..... a boxer can focus of protecting only protecting the torso and head.... MMA is diffrent.... your game needs to be so well rounded..... yea gomi is basically a striker..... but thats only because he can neutralize others takedowns...... He was a acomplished wrestler before mma......

let me put it in terms most here can understand....... some people like to keep species or region tanks... like africans only or rays only... thats boxing...... others like to mixed it up with variety..... africans... arows... and rays on the bottom.... its personal prefrence.... as far as boxing being at a higher level..... yea... but not for much longer......
