Well I have a Clown loach tank, and it has a single GT (chip) its kind of weird because chip swims with the shoal. A few times I've seen Chip "Shake" at one of my larger clown loaches in particular.. This is really my first GT, so whats going on? Ill try to take a vid of it, but it happens so random I would have to sit there for at least 45 min. Chip eats like a pig ... doesn't show signs of stress or anything...:screwy:

Head and body shaking is just a mating sign. It is in there nature to reproduce, even if it means trying it on with other species.

What a hooker, the CL is not even the same color..... shape.... species.... lol interracial relationships... to each their own! lol Loach terrors... :P mayby ill get chip a friend.

LET THERE BE LOACH TERRORS!!! And if for some crazy reason it works I want a couple!!! I am sure that some fish experts will probably want a couple too.

 Funniest thing I'll read today

When my old GT was still a juvie, it would shake when a more dominate fish came by. I noticed it was more of a intimidation shake. Im sure there are other reason for the GT to shake but this was my experience.

As stated it is a combination mating/dominace disply intended to attract potential mates and saying to other males I'm top dog around here.

I think this is what was going on, I went and grabbed another GT just in case it wanted to breed, no such luck.
