could a 2in gt coexist with a 10in green sev in a 75g im more concerned about the sev getting beat up in the future

the sev wont go after 2in minnows but i know for a fact it can hold its own if the challange arises maby a ebjd would be a better match

they will both be fine for life

like Fallin said it depends on the particular fish. I had an 8" male GT in a 120 by himself. I thought he was lonely so I added a 6" male green sev. Well guess what - the sev ended up ruling the tank and the GT was forced to stay in a corner all day long....

So yeah, try it, and keep up the filtration...

it should work IMO, the severum being bigger now also allows a better chance to be/or stay as the dominant fish, which is good

well long story short of course they can live in the same tank but you will have issues... green terrors are very aggro and territorial cichlids and 75G isnt really big enough for a fully grown GT with another big cichlid... there will be a bad vibe / fighting etc...

I think it'll be fine , but like mentioned an upgrade will be needed at some point. I've kept them together and they did fine not only in a 55 growout tank but the 125 after they got big enough . Alot will depend on the individual fish though.
