So i have a 75g with africans that i want to change. I have a new home for the african cichlids. I was going to get another Oscar and keep him by himself in the 75. But then i was thinking of a GT(which ive never owned) and since they dont get as big as O's, keep my Red Jewel with him. Is this a good idea? Or should i keep the GT alone also? Thanks for any input.

Problem will be as the gt grows he will become more aggressive towards your jewel because its the only fish in there with him. I have me 5 inch female in with a 5 inch female grammodes and a 3 inch red devil and all is well

So maybe add one more fish in with GT and Red Jewel? Would a severum work? Also im going on the idea that this will be there tank for life. Thanks.
U have a few options. It will all depend on the aggression of your gt

I'm not an expert but I've noticed that its hit and miss. My jewel was the king of the tank for awhile... That's until the oscars and JDs eventually got bigger than him.
