Why is it that green terrors are disease prone, specially , stringy poop.
I lost 2 gts in past and my another 1 is suffering with it.

yeah they are prone to parasites so you might want to try treating him for that, i think its because they are so widely distributed they are most likely very inbred and kept in bad conditions and so have suppressed immune system making them prone to catching certain things

I've kept GT (Gold & Silver Saums) for many years, and in the last couple years have had several issues with my last 3 GT's. One developed a swim bladder issue, then the others had various issues. I have come up with 2 conclusions, I beleive that these GT's have sensitivity to salt, and you should never try and power feed them. I'm experimenting with another one right now, I'll get back with you if I come up with any other discoveries..

Im upping my feeding schedule for my GT. Hes about 8 inches, growth seems to have slowed donw the past 5 monthes. He needs to be abit thicker i think so im feeding him Hikari Massivore Delite pellets, these other super soft pellets, bloodworms, shrimp and somtimes krill.

well, i use to feed him varied diet and peas on fridays with garlic in it.
still got disease.
No gt from now :(

that sucks but most likely he got it from the petstore not from anything you did, if they catch it at petstore than no matter how well you take care of him he will still show signs and get sick unless you specifically treat them for it
