This is a potential setup I'm looking to get, I think It would look awesome. My GT right now isn't too aggressive at 4-5", though I just moved out the JD that had him on the bottom of the totem pole. Possibly a green/red/gold/rotkeil severum, totally up in the air, but I am a big fan of firemouths, I like how they look. If I get the severum and FM in there now, think they'd grow out and be cool with eachother? I know the GT will be 10" and all that, just looking for some diversity in my tank. Let me know what you guys think! I'm also open to other suggestions you guys would do with the tank, hit me with some feedback.

I've never had a gt, fm and have only had a sev for 5 days but I am really interested in gt and have done a lot of research on them. This trio is a combo I have seen many times however it was usually in a 6' tank. Personally I would stick to a gt and fm in a 90 since a sev will also be around 10".

Seems like a good stock for a 90gal. If your GT isnt too much of a terror than it will most likely work out. I would try to find a sev that is at least as big as the terror.

Yea my LFS has a couple nice sevs, I'll have to take a look at them again some time. As for the FM...well...that's another story...haven't seen them there in a while, might have to go the old Petsmart and find the best looker they have there.

GT and FM's in a 90 is good. Probably asking for trouble, in terms of aggression from the GT, if you add a sev too. A sev is too big and "threatening" to the GT, and yet would be unable to defend itself adequately against an angry GT. With a bigger tank you could get away with it, but I think a 90 is too small for that.

So would something like a GT, FM, Convict work better since the convict wouldn't get as big as a severum, but still be able to hold his own if necessary?
