i've had my GT for around 2 months...he eats all the time, cic pellets, worms, bloodworms, etc...but i don't think he's growing...i bought a red oscar at the same time, around the same size, and he's grown at least an inch already. can anyone give me a rough estimate of how much a GT can grow per month? he eats just as much as the oscar, even bullies the oscar...i'm worried he might have some kind of internal bug or something.

It's normal, they are slow growers. On top of it the other fish you have in there to compare are oscars...fast growers. I have had mine for a year, from a 2" size he got to 7" within this year. I feed my fish very well. I got my 2 alboni oscars at less than 2" after getting the GT, and they are larger than him now.
As for the agression, yep they do that. Thus their name...you might have to split them up if the oscars are getting a beating. He could easily kill them.
