usually, the outcome of your fishes "stuff" is usually the color of the food you feed him. is the stuff you feed him white or transparent a bit??? if not, you MIGHT have a problem but most likely, u dont

ummm.. yea hes not eating and the rest of the fish are. I know there is a prob because his face looks like its sunk in and he is really skinny

what do u feed ur GT??? and do u have any pics of it??? (not the ****, the fish itself)

well thats the point. Its not eating. It eats soem bloodworms every once in awhile when i feed those. I feed the otehr fish hairaki and new life, brine shrimp

Had the same problem with one of trimacs, it was so bad all it did was lay on its side for 3 days. I was thinking that it was never going to get better. I put him in a ten gallon and and treated him with some stuff from wal mart, it was made by jungle labs and was said to treat both external and internal parasites. I gave him 50% water changes every morning and about 25% at in the afternoon. ran a couple sponge flters in the tank also. as of today he is upright and looks good. might be a couple days before he gets put back in my main tank

Clear stringy, slimy poop is a strong indicater of an intestinal infection caused by protazoans, the best treatment I have found is a mix of metronidazole, praziquantel, and something like levamisole. There are several products available, especially for discus breeders. One I have had good results with is the antiparasitical medicated food made by Jungle AP, google that for a source, I think BigAls.com sells it. The jungle antiparasite tank buddies can also work but not as well as the food.
