So I'm thinking it's definitely a male. It has a very defined hump on his head at only three inches. His colors are amazing, very shiny. Even though his fins are nipped due to African cichlids and other tough cichlids he was with before I got him his fins look very pointed. So here's some pictures I took. He freaks out when he sees my iPhone come out because I follow him everywhere with it lol. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn17/FordMan18/d8bfc93d.jpg

Not to mention, soon as he came to an established territory tank ran by a red tiger motaguense , he beat him into submission and took over the tank within 10 mins lol.. So I moved the rtm to a diff tank. But what you guys think? Bad angles but best I can do lol.

looks male but only females display the patches of blue under their jaw.... heres a pic of my current female i thought she was male untill she laid eggs.... i would wait a little longer..... pointed fins, and color are a bad way of sexing gt's........... just wait a few months...
