i started a thread about this but i cant find it..o well i have my female GT in a tank by itself to fatten her up cause she wasnt eating with the male..1 n a half days later all my male GT does all day is stare at the filter intake tube ALL DAY! its kinda funny just seeing them sit there staring at the tube... later today ill check all my water perms.

oh oh oh hes swimming.........ok nvm hes back to the corner...

is this normal? does he miss his mate?

Condition them. Feed the blood worms, half night crawlers, high protein foods. Do a water change with slightly cooler water about -3° do this every night if you can or as often as possible I do this with my Jack Dempsey pair, and it works wonders, you can even place a small mirror by the side of the tank to get your male more active and induced the female into spawning.

He's fine just add some other fish for him to chase around.

i did the mirror thing that worked for a day..now every time i put it back he dont go near it and just stares at the filter tube...i left this afternoon at 1pm.....its 5:16pm and hes still in the same spot lol

Rearrange the tank then. Maybe he's bored of the layout
