Hi i have one male gt, which is about 7 inches or so and one female gt which is 3 or 4 inches in a 50gal. Recently i noticed they arent eat very much, if any, just did a water check, everything is at 0 except for nitrates at 10, which i dident think was too bad. The male has been chasing the smaller one around and wen the male gets close, it flares out, and starts shaking his head. The smaller one usually bails out. But, say when i turn on the light or if they get scared, they are both together under this big rock structure. Im confused as to what is going on here. Is there somthing im doin wrong or somthing i can do better? Any help is apperciated!

Courting perhaps? Sounds to me like the big guys trying to impress his lady.
