So yesterday I bought a new Green Terror (4.5") from a lfs and he was in a 20gallon tank with 6" J Dempseys that were beating the @#*% out of him
- he was terrified in the corner of the tank with his fins severely nipped all along his top fin and his tail fin (both to the body). He looks aweful. So we put him in our 150 with our snook and severum. He's doing great...swimming (or trying to swim around the best he can ) like crazy. The other fish pretty much just chase him out of territory - they're not aggressive towards him.
So I've raised the temp a bit and added more salt. Is there anything else I can do...like vitamins, etc. (prefereably not meds) that can help his fins grow back faster?
