GT size and sex

I got this GT about 6 months ago. He is in a 60 gallon with two 6 inch jack dempseys. Two questions...

1. Is this a male?

2. He is only about 3 1/2 inches. He has grown less than an inch in the 6 months I've had him. I've heard they are slow growers, but is this normal?

Difficult to tell from that pic, I can't tell. He might be getting bullied, hence the slow growth; what size of tank is he in?

Sorry, missed the 60 gallon info; blaming morning tiredness lol.

I'd expect GT's to grow on average half an inch a month, so yeah i'd say it's a bit abnormal if yours hasn't grown that much.

Here is a closer look. I thought male when I got it, but still wondering.

looks like a female plus the growth length of time sounds like a female growth too

Yep. Eating normally and not getting bullied. Starting to look female to me.
