GT tank mate with tilapia buttikoferi?

I saw a gt and a t.buttikoferi as tankmates. I guess they were raised together since 1 inch and now they are almost 5 inches... So far so good but, how long do you guys think this combo will last? They are in a 125 gallon with your typical bottom feeders.
 
depends on fish. some say buttis are killers, mine is laid back and peaceful and hes 10 inches. from what i hear more buttis then not are fierce but you can get some that are gentle. each and every fish has its own personality. here is a link of mine if you want to see who hes in with although i dont suggest it. i took a chance and it paid off. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215778

WELL IN MY 90 I HAD 2 GT'S AND ONE BUTT BEFORE AND THEY ARE DOING FINE

BUT IM NOT GOING TO LIE I REMOVED THE BIGGER GT AND THE LITTLIER ONE HAS TAKEN OVER THE TANK,IT HAS GROWN OUT OF THIS WORLD SINCE I REMOVED IT'S TANK BUDDY AND HAS A BIG BEHIND BUMP GROWING ON IT'S HEAD

I THOUGHT IT WAS A FEMALE BUT I QUESS IM WRONG.THE BUTT. HAS TO STAY HIDDING NOW
 
Cichlid fiend: Have you ever heard of Caps Lock? Well you dont have to use it..lol

The fish are still 5", both of them can reach 10". I think it will work if the GT will not annoy him. If he will the butti will answer... you know the rest...
