any diffrence between gold/silver saum? aside from color

I used to say no but I've got a (my first) white trimed GT that is growing up in my 265 and he is looking longer than my orange trimed GTs so I'm not sure anymore.

I guess he could be growing better because he has so much room to swim but I can't say. anyone else have any ideas?
