I know its a little bit gross, but its also a lot kewl- 3 different types of arowana, each was 24", have jumped to there death in my care( 2 of them jumped from the pond- FYI, its very difficult to securely seal a pond to keep aros in it)
I wasnt expecting such a substantial size difference, but obviously, there was one with a far bigger head than the other two- nor was I expecting so many big sharp teeth-

so what type of arowana, goes with what skull?

wow! aro's have teeth like that? never saw those when my 22" silver jumped out of my tank and died. all i saw was a saw like tongue.

From the first picture: top left is black aro skull, top right is jardini aro skull (w/ cloudy eyes), and bottom one is silver aro skull. Second pix is jardini aro skull. Third pix is black aro skull. Fourth pix is silver aro skull. Last pix is jardini skull (again). May I have them? (if you think they're lil gross) :naughty:

amazing John! everyone on the nose! even down to the cloudy eye jar!.... I guess it doesnt hurt that you gave me a third of the collection(when it was still alive, of course)
its a pretty nice collection, but one I hope not to add too!

I knew the black would have a shallower skull than the silver, but big jars have such deep bodies, I thought the skull wouldve been bigger-

if the superstitions are true, and these aros have given their to save mine, I should be thankful, and more careful!
oh, and John, if I ever do part with them, then yes you may
