So recently (within the last 3 days) two of my tiger barbs go missing, and one just turned up, with a chunk missing out of it, also with shreded fins. So I believe one of my fish found that it is acceptable and rewarding to attack other fish. The stock that could achieve this is, a 10" Delhizi bichir, 7 inch senegal, a 6 inch african brown knife, or an aggressive 6-7 inch synodontis eupterus. Now, the obvious bets are on the del, but maybe not, the shreded fins and the fact that it isn't completely eaten point to some one else, also I have never seen the del go after anything but pellets, and the 7 inch senegal has a history of killing its tank mates. Also the knife fish (had to house with 6 neon tetras over night) has taken out 4 by its self, so it is no light weight. The syn is the boss of the tank, chases away any fish that comes near its log, and I'm not sure if they have teeth or anything like that, (I assume not) so probably not this fish. So, who did it?
