Guess the Oscar

Just recently added this little chap to my 110 gallon SA Cichlid tank. Got him real cheap and he was labelled as a red oscar, which I'm pretty sure he isn't. I thought he was an albino but a friend cast doubts on that because of the darker coloration of his fins and lack of pink eye. What do you guys think?

I used to have one that looked just like that. He was still sold to me as an albino. I think they're gorgeous when they look like that.

Well he's certainly not a red Oscar! I'd say an albino!

i think its Lutino Oscar because it has some color. though most fish stores labels them as albino. An albino oscars lack the color pigments and will be pale in color with pink eyes. If it has any color (red, orange, black, ect) then its not really an albino oscar.

if it was an albino id have to say albino tiger but with the black on the fins its prolly a Lutino

looks exactly like my albino tiger,mines about 7-8" they look great big, thats what im saying he is, but i didnt ever know the difference between an albino and a lutino, mine must be a lutino.. have funn
