Well still looks very young. Color on it is looking great. But cloudy tank might be a sign of it not being cycled.
From the pointed fins could be a male. But then again I’ve seen really colorful females.

Going to upgrade my tank. It's not cloudy water by the way it's because of the hazy glass.

Oh ok lol wasn’t sure. But yea in terms of quality your terror is colored up very young so that’s another sign of potential male. It will grow in no time and your gonna have a stunner of a fish

good brands would be New Life Spectrum, Northfin, Hikari, and Omega one.

It's a male. I have a male gold saum thats probably an inch or so bigger. If you want his colours to pop more i would add some black sand, or if you are wanting to keep it a bare bottom tank, than I would paint the back of the tank black and add some dark driftwood.
