Guess the sex of this GT.

Good guess. You guys are good and she is a proven female. I post this to test the knowledge of the respondents as question to sex my GT comes up all the time. I am raising a batch of GT and at that size, there is no obvious external difference in sex. She is as brightly colored as male and for a while I thought she was a male. Only when she paired up with a male that her color darken up that I know it is unmistakenly a female. I moved her to an all female tank because I don't want young fish to spawn to take away their energy to grow. Her color brightened up again as she is the dominant female assuming the male color.
