I would guess there is a 50% chance that it is a male.

that means there is 50% chance a female which means that is no guess at all!!

The pictures aren't really good enough to be sure. Without venting the next best clue would be any black extending up onto the center of the dorsal fin from the body, only females will have this. If I was to give my opinion based on the pics provided I would say a male but a clear close up vent pic or one with the dorsal erect would improve accuracy.

Thanks the thing is the fish changes shades depending on its mood and feeding. The one I showed pics of doesn't seem to having baring like my other 2
