Guess what i got for $40

I was looking on craigslist for fish tanks(which I do daily,lol). And I saw a posting for a 55 gallon tank for $25.:WHOA: I emailed them 2 minutes later saying I was interested in it. So earlier today I went 45 miles to go and pick up the tank. I got there and looked at the tank............it was filled with extra goodies.:nilly: I was like "umm what's all of this". There was a Magnum 330 canister/diatom filter(they aren't made anymore, the model is the 350 now, who cares though a free filter:naughty:) in great condition, a big black diatom filter thingie( don't have a clue what it does:)), the light setup for the tank, with new bulbs already in it, and a whisper 400 air pump and a 12 inch fish net. He was like you can have all of this extra for $15. I of course took the deal. Went home with the whole lot for $40 bucks.

I checked them all to see if they worked when I got home. They do.:grinno: So that's my great tale of craiglisting.
 
awesome. I tend to search clist often for tanks as well.
recently, i found an unscratched 75 gal for $30, that just needed resealing. Also found same magnum 330 canister filter for 35(cost more than tank). I built a stand with extra lumber lying around, and sold it all back on clist for $250. about 150 profit.
i did not keep it- wall street has my extra money these days.
 
You actually made something for craiglist, lol. That's like the total opposite reason of why the site was made.:ROFL: Can't complain though $150.
