Hey all I just picked this little dude up. I figured I would take a picture before he goes into the tank.. im stoked about this buy. The one lfs has the same crap until today. Sorry for the water.. the water at there store wasn't the best. Any advice for this 5"incher... got a desent price..

Nice pick up; maybe a little skinny. I love mine. My only advice is clean water, a good hiding spot, and lots of snails.
 
the water he is in now is clean and gets changed every 3 days,as for snails hmmmmm. guess i need to go get some some were lol.Lfs plants are good for that lol. i did some reading and they saposed to eat cat fish pellits as well.... i feed dethawed food as well so we will see... he will live with 2 small dats a 4-5 inch ripsaw cat and a bck... all small fish but they eat pellits. ill see what i can do for snails thow.

I looked at him just a little while ago he is thin.... ill try to get some snails today..I feed 2x a day I hope he picks up his eating. He is hanging with my ripsaw cat lol

I just target fed him, he downed a carnivore pellet.
