Hello, yesterday I showed my mom what an Arowana looks like and she said they were cool! Then I asked if I could get one,and she said yes but how much do they go for? I said 30.95 which is the price for them at my LFS. Then I told her they need a Minnimum of 125 gallons. She said ok,but you have to save up for one. I think it's cool! Comments and Suggestions here....

lol.... dude they need more then 125gals... a jar I would say a 180 min and a Silver is 240 absolute minimum...

300 gallon 8'x30"x2' perfect for one.... good luck with the new aro though convince her you need a 180...

Oh I will convince her. Even though it will be harder....

If it's easy to get a aro over your side, you can always get the tank first.

you keep at it kiddo, i'm still trying to convice my wife I need a 280 gallon tank!

all glass 180 is between 6 and 800 glasscages 300 is 900 do the math much better tank to be saving for...

Your gonna need a tank that is a least 6'x2'x2' for about the first 4 years. With proper care a silver aro will reach well over 30" and need to be kept in a 8' x 30" x 24" tank

a 120 should be fine...4x2x2

Much better for you to just give no advice. Only a very poor excuse of a fish keeper would keep a 30" fish in a tank that size:screwy:
