That looks like a northern Pike but it's a little too dark. I believe the europeans have a Northern pike too and it's dark like that. That would be my final answer.....am I write or wrong.
 
I gotta agree with Gamefishin, a dark phase northern.
 
Is that a hybrid? the white mottling is too small to be a chain pickerel. The body markings look like those of a Northern pike (Esox lucius) but, the fin and facial patterns are wrong. Definitely not an Amur pike since Amurs have dark spots on a light background.

Whatever it is, I hope you're keeping it alive. That's a centerpiece for a large cool-water tank.
 
There are several minor variations, I think those pics were from north Dakota.

gamefishin is right, northern pike, 32". there's lots of em in there.

Little cedar lake, up by Mille Lacs, it's private-got a cabin on it:)
