Guess What's in the Bag

Hey guys. I got a pair of new fish in the mail today. Would anyone like to take a crack at identifying them? The genus name shouldn't be too hard, but I would be very impressed if anyone could get the species name. Here are some pictures.

Not bad at all. The male is showing some awesome coloration now that he is in the tank.

I guess you guys can tell I got the gymno's from Fishfarm. Now its only a matter of narrowing down the species he has for sale.

I'm sorry. The correct answer was water and two fish.

The correct answer is Gymnogeophagus sp. Cuareim.

Let me just take the time to thank Ken at Fishfarm for the outstanding service. He was very good about answering all my questions (believe me, I had a lot) and provided excellent packaging. The fish were delayed in the mail for an extra day, but as you can see, they made it in good condition. All in all, I couldn't be happier and I will definitely be ordering from Fishfarm again in the future.

That said, I will probably post some in-tank shots tomorrow.
