In search of Leiarius
I fell off my roof today at 12:50pm and ended up landing on my ladder and the cement pathway. The ladder now looks like it was hit by a car and I ony have some road rash, scratches, bruised tailbone and a bruised or torn muscle in my lower back. I landed on my hip/butt. I am now on some non narcotic pain meds that make me sleepy, air headed, loopy, basically a combo of being on a medium strong high. The reason I was on my roof was i wa cleaning the gutters of this seasons acorns that were clogging them up, the leaves from the oaks haven't even turned yellow.

So now I can't operate heavy machinary,drive, or take on serious tasks or responsibilities. The nurse at the ER even gave me a shot in the ass for the pain on the docs orders, and my nurses and doc were nice and attractive.

funny and painful story, had to share.

Also I fell seven feet not too high but, not fun either.
 
ow! careful, my good friends Grandfather just died from falling off a roof and hit a trailor going down. Of course he was old but still.
 
I know its slightly insensitive...any chance there could be a photo taken of the ladder?

Glad there were no serious issues tho, i fall down a step and feel like im going to die i couldn't imagine off my roof.

I weigh 280 Lbs and it is rated for 300Lbs is solid aluminium. Now the question for me is how pure is the aluminum. The ladder is totaled now due to that dent, and the whole thing still feels like a care wreck. If I wasn't on vicodin right now I would be mesirable, I also get to take 1200mg of Ibproufen as needed with the vicodin.

My most serious injury is just a slight fracture on the wrist that took three months to repair itself with cast on hand.
