guianacara sphenozona?

A guy in a local club traded me this pair as guianacara sphenozona... So my question is are they and is there a simplified name...lol

Looks more like Guianacara oelemariensis to my eye ... unless still juvies (which they look too beefy too be), adult G. sphenozona don't have the black lappets on the dorsal fin and the midlateral spot would above the lateral line, not below.
 
They are sometimes know as, and locally translated in Northern South American as "old wife".
There are a number of Guianacara species that differ slightly from location to location by shape and length of mid body color, and/or by the amount of color in the anterior of the dorsal fin, and shape of the band that runs through the eye.

 
The female has the band through her head and spot/band through her body also... And the male just the band on his face and spot on his body

These spots can vary with mood, and sexual activity,
below is on of the above fish in spawning/dominance color. (not sure which one, I have a shoal of about 10)


 
They were also known as Bandit Cichlids back in the day, though I rarely hear the term used for them now a days. Most just say Guianacara and leave it at that.
 
Whichever they are, love Guianacara. Used to own a group of 6 and between themselves, they were always very interactive.
