With mine, it's just the males that fight with any real intensity. Although they ignore other species, 2 males in a 6 ft tank will search each other out, and constantly engage in battle.
I try to keep at at least 3 females to each 1 male, but in the tank in the photos, I didn't recognize the 2nd male.
