I was literally talking to my husband earlier tonight about the fact that it seemed like it was time to move one of my 12" fish into another tank since my RTCxTSN had hit 22+". I figured I'd do it in the morning. Well, let's just say I was lucky as hell to have taken a good look before I was turning off the lights. I saw a flailing tail sticking out of my hybrid's mouth. He must have snagged the fish just moments earlier. I managed to grab my hybrid, scare the bejesus out of him,and made him puke up the fish. The fish is fine although slightly scraped, and in now safely in a new tank. Next time the thought runs through my head, the fish is getting moved that moment...
Lucky me, lucky fish I guess.
Oh, and for all those people talking about getting a RTC, a RTCxTSN or TSN... Take note. My baby is turned one year old this July. I got him at the August SoCal meet as a tiny baby. He is still growing like a weed, and eating at least as much food as all three of my land cats combined. Great cat. I love him, and gave it great thought and commitment when I took him home. Just know what you're getting into...
