I have 2 short haired guinea pigs on top of a dresser next to my fish tank . The guinea pigs sometimes drop their poop and bedding on the floor and on top the aquarium. Even though I have.a hood the dropped beeding and poop sometimes falls in the aquarium. I know it more then likely will hurt the fish but how bad?

well, take the size of the GP poop and compare it to the fish. now imagine a piece that is the equivalent size compared to you and imagine how much you'd like that big of a pile of poop in your room.
one of the main things about keeping fish is reducing the effects of that happening with the fish's own waste, any addition to that is a bad thing. the best thing you can do is stop it from happening.
a piece of plexiglass or equivilent next to the cage to stop the GP's from pooping outside the cage or across that side of the aquarium to keep the poop out is your best bet.

Yeah I try my best to keep it out. I vacum the hood daily to keep the poop from falling in but im not always home. Im going to give the gps up for adoption .
