What im looking for is a certain pedal. One that can go from a really dirty sound to a really clean sound. Im not sure what brand to look for or what im really looking for to be honest:nilly:I want one like in this video, if the link doesnt work here's the url (i promise its not a rick roll). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyfDLAmh16Q It shows the really clean part at like 53 seconds.

Thanks,
Jimmy

I like my Tubescreamer. As long as you don't need crazy amounts of distortion it works well.

Those things sound amazing!!!!

A multi-channel amp should work well too.

Hi,

the Zoom is a nice tool - cool price and cool clean sounds. I'm using it to do that crispy stuff ... funk, song-orientated or neo-romantical two-hand-tapping stuff.

But i don't like the distorted sounds - a bit too scratchy with less opportunity to ger those warm distorted sounds that will let your guitar sing ...

Have you heared about the POD? Both worlds - clean & distorted - are well and very authentic ... the only thing i don't like: The cut-off of ultra-long tones ...
but for my opinion the best "pocket" amp-imitation one can get!

Greetings

Uwe

depends on what kind of distortion you want: harmonic, warm, hardcore deathmetal, warm bluesy etc. Why not just go to a music store and test some out? (Then buy what you want online cheaper).
