Gulper cat happy in his 3 foot tank

All day swims up the filter

he is 2 now very soft water lives with just guppies

he was unhappy in all of them, would refuse to eat or come out of hiding

in the 3 foot long tank he never hides and swims all day but he has been eating like a huge pig

he has not stuffed himself like this since he was a baby

He was always in over filtered tanks but hes so big such a small tank i dont like it, but i mean if hes happy should i bother him?


I try to give a variety of food last week he had a whole bass this week he got a snake

I havent seen him so healthy in a long time

he is 9 inches, i know gulpers do not need large tanks but a 3 foot i think its a 30 gallon long just seems so small. Its the tank he first went in when he ws 3 inches. Its over filtered with 2 hang on the back 200 aqaclears

If he's eating he's good to go

Would probably not feed snakes,not good for digestion longterm
