i have him in a 75 gal alone and he is the most boreing fish i ever had he does nothing all day lays in 1 spot is this normal is this how they act

In a 75g add two or three more gulpers. They grow slowly. And yes they sometimes do tend to act like this. You could put some giant danios in your tank. Maybe about 6-10 and they should be fast enough that the gulper can't get them. They would act as a sort of dither fish. Your gulper will try to catch them and in return start to move more. But it a gulper catfish.....feeding him alone should be cool enough.:)

Sounds like the stereotypical catfish to me, most of them tend to be a bit lazy, till either the lights go out or the food goes in...

the more gulpers the more activity!

I have been in search aof a gulper cat for sometime now. There is not anywhere local to me that will even consider finding me one. I have never ordered any fish over the interenet...is it trust worthy? Any suggestions where I might locate one? I am also in search of A goliath tiger. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
